When morning rolled around, Simone found herself completely exhausted. She tried to sit up, but her head pounded so hard, that she had to lie down again.
"It must be the medication." she thought. About five minutes later, she sat up again and this time there was no pounding. She went to the bathroom and showered. Everything seemed to happening around her. She was still in a little bit of shock about last night. About everything that happened last night. The whole hospital and then with Zac finding out.
When she sat down for breakfast, she joined the table, sitting next to Taylor. He looked just about as tired as Simone felt.
"Hey mom, guess what I found out last night?" Zac declared, just as the food was being brought to the table. Simone and Taylor both looked up sharply at Zac. She reached under the table and grabbed Taylor's hand. 'Zac, don't you dare...' she thought.
"What, sweetheart?" Diana asked.
"Simone is bilingual! She knows French." Zac said. Simone breathed out a sigh of relief and loosened her grip on Taylor's hand. Diana raised her eyebrows and looked over at Simone.
"Really? Zac, how did you find this out last night?" she asked.
"Well, I heard them talking in Tay's room, so I went over and talked, too. She was talking in French. It's really cool." he said.
"In Taylor's room, huh?" Diana asked, her interest raising. "I was under the impression that you both know the rule."
"We do, mom. It was nothing. We just got back from the hospital and neither of us could sleep. So, she came to my room and we just talked. And Zac was there the whole time, too." Taylor explained. Diana nodded.
"That reminds me, how was the hospital after I left?"
"Well, the doctor checked me out and gave me a prescription for my cramps. My stomach already feels better." Simone said, only revealing the necessary information.
"Did she know what was causing the pain?"
"She said that it was just a little bug that was going around. She said that if I continue to take the medication, then I should be fine within a week or two." Simone said, not exactly lying.
"Well, that's great news! I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better." Diana smiled, unaware that she wasn't receiving the 100% truth.
Simone continued to take her medication as prescribed and she ended up getting her period a week later. She was never so happy to get it. She told Taylor, but he didn't seem quite as thrilled as Simone was.
The next week, they were in South Carolina, right on Myrtle Beach, staying in one of the biggest hotels. At about 8:00 pm, Simone approached Taylor, took his hand and pulled him up from the couch. Then they left the hotel room, which was more like an entire condo.
"Sim, where are we going?" he asked.
"Out." she replied, stepping into the elevator and pushing the button to go to the lobby.
"Oh, shush." she said, while kissing his lips. She was feeling extremely attracted to Taylor over the past few days. Maybe it was because it had been a pretty long time since they...had each other. The elevator ride was taking forever. Their room was on the 15th floor and it was only on the 12th, very slowly making its way down to the lobby.
Their lips pressed together again and Simone reached over and unbuckled the belt around Taylor's unusually baggy jeans.
"Sim! What are you doing?" he asked, pulling away, shocked at her aggressiveness, and then rebuckled his belt.
"Nothing, just playin'." she said, smiling mischievously. She didn't know how much longer she could stand the wanting. They finally reached the lobby and they walked out the front doors to a waiting taxi. The taxi stopped in front on a building, Simone thanked and then paid the driver. They walked inside.
"You brought me to a club?" Taylor asked.
"We needed to go out. C'mon! Dance with me. I'll be fun." Simone insisted, pulling him out onto the dance floor.
They danced close to each other for the first five straight fast songs. Then *N Sync "God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You" began to play. Simone wrapped her arms securely around Taylor's neck and he slipped his arms around her waist. As the song went on, Simone moved closer and closer to Taylor.
"You're dancing dangerously close, Miss Reid." Taylor warned her. She smiled one of her sexy smiles that she knew Taylor couldn't resist.
"I know." she replied, getting even closer.
"I, uh, don't know if I can handle it if you get any closer." Taylor said.
"Really?" Simone kissed him. Taylor smiled and kissed her again. When the song ended, they sat down at an empty table.
"So, what do you wanna do now?" Taylor asked. Simone looked into his eyes. Taylor recognized that glint in them.
"I think you already know what and who I want to do." Simone said playfully.
"Are you serious?" Taylor asked. Simone nodded, then looked at the clock on the wall. Tay's curfew was coming soon.
"I think that we should go back to the hotel." Simone suggested. Taylor nodded, completely agreeing with her.
When they returned to the hotel, they discovered that, even tho it was already close to midnight, Diana, Walker and Isaac were still awake, watching something on TV. Simone heard Taylor groan with disappointment. She whispered something in his ear.
"We'll be back soon. We're going for a walk on the beach." Taylor said. Hand in hand, they walked, letting the cool ocean waves just splash over their feet. The beach was basically empty, a rarity for Myrtle. Maybe it was because it was late.
"Sooo..." Taylor said. Simone kissed him, just a quick kiss. They continued to walk down the beach for a long time. Then they agreed to turn back, for they weren't sure as to how far they walked.
This time when they returned to the hotel, it was close to 1:00 am. Everyone had already gone to bed, so they were extra quiet so they wouldn't wake anyone. Simone pulled Taylor into her room, which she didn't have to share with his sisters at this stop. The hotel room was actually the size of a condo, with 5 bedrooms, some with multiple beds, there was pullout couches and even a kitchen. Simone shut the door behind them, and they embraced in a long passionate kiss.
"Sim -- "
"Tay, don't question me." she said, already starting to unbuckle his belt again.
Their lovemaking was ten times better than their first. Simone had to keep her moans and screams inside because she didn't want to wake anyone. Taylor tried to do the same thing, but failed. When Simone heard him release his pleasure, she couldn't keep hers inside anymore.
When it was all over, they laid beside each other, simply holding the other. Simone leaned over Taylor and kissed him for about the 1000th time that night. She remained close to him, under the covers, her head resting on his chest. Taylor ran his fingers thru her hair.
Just being so close to each other, flesh to flesh, made Simone realize just how much she loved Taylor. He didn't have to do much of anything to make her happy. She thought that just lying with him, all wrapped up in each other, was better than the sex itself. Nothing was separating their bodies from touching now. Skin against skin, they stayed like that all night long, drifting to sleep and not even realizing it.
Simone awoke with a smile on her face. Taylor never left her thoughts thru out the night. They remained both physically and emotionally close to each other. The feel of his hand draped over her stomach brought flashed back of last night. Everything seemed like a dream. Simone rolled over to face Taylor, then kissed his lips. His eyes opened.
'Oh, they are so wonderfully blue.' Simone thought. Taylor smiled, brought his hand to the back of her neck, and pulled her over for another kiss. As the kiss inclined, Taylor ran his hands over her bare back, caressing every part of her that he touched. Her skin was so smooth.
Then Simone remembered where they were and suddenly became tense and quickly sat up.
"Taylor!" she whispered loudly. "Omigod, its morning!"
"If we get caught, then your mother would kick me out and I would never be allowed to talk to you again!" Just as the words came from her mouth, there was a soft knock on her door. She got a panicked look on her face as she looked at Taylor and then around the room. Their clothed were strewn about the floor. "Um, just a minute!"
"Tay, get under the bed!" she ordered. Taylor got up from the bed. Simone stole a glance at his tush before he crawled under her bed. She smiled. Then she got out of the bed, sprinted around the room, grabbed up all of the clothing from the floor, then jumped back into the bed, shoved the clothes under the covers and then pulled the sheets up to cover herself.
"Come in." she called. The door opened slowly and in walked Isaac. She pulled the sheets up even more. He could still see her bare shoulders; he knew she was naked under the covers. A small smile formed on his lips. "Ike, what do you want?"
"Well, this is actually a message from my mother. Well, technically two questions. 1st, do you prefer your eggs scrambled or sunny side up? 2nd, do you know where Tay is?" The smile on his lips evolved from a grin to a knowing smile."
"1st, I like my eggs scrambled. If you mom would like, I would be more than happy to help her out with breakfast. And 2nd, no, I haven't seen Tay for awhile." Simone said. She wasn't exactly lying. She considered 'awhile' that short time that they had been separated. Isaac looked at her, trying to decide if he believed her or not. He finally nodded, then stepped away from the door and shut it.
Simone heard Taylor exhale a sigh of relief. She leaned over the side of the bed and peered under at him.
"Whoa, I thought we were busted there." Taylor said. Simone only smiled.
"Have I ever told you that you have a really cute ass?" Simone asked. Taylor's face darkened.
"I believe this is the first time." he said.
"Remind me to tell you more often, ok?"
Taylor only nodded, knowing that he would never have to remind her; she would do a fine job of reminding herself.
"Ok, here's the game plan..." Simone said, walking into the bathroom, as Taylor pulled himself out from under the bed. Simone got a kick out of watching him put on his boxers from behind. Once he realized that she was watching him, he blushed again and joined her in the bathroom.
"No fair, you already have a robe on." he complained, and slipped his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder. She looked at their reflection in the mirror. Taylor followed her gaze. He smiled, then Simone smiled.
"Anyway, I'll go out and help your mom with breakfast, which will help distract her. Then you'll come out of my room, slipping ever so silently across the hall to your room. It's as easy as that." Simone said.
"Sounds like a plan." Taylor said, kissing Simone before she left to go to the kitchen.
