Chapter 19 - Unfamiliar Faces

Nothing much else happened during the movie, just that Beth rested her head on my shoulder the whole time and it felt really great to know that we were together and being so close. All of my friends make fun of me because we never really accomplished too much in our relationship, and I mean physically accomplish, but I honestly don’t care. If anything between Beth and me does happen, I want everything to be so perfect.

The movie ended, and we walked hand in hand back out to my Explorer. She was looking at me so seductively, I wanted her right then and there. Just the look on face and the glint in her eyes made me so horny, it was unbelievable. I wanted to say something to her, but I didn’t want to ruin our evening.

In the car, on the way to dinner at Tony’s, she didn’t put her seatbelt on and she sat in the middle of the seat, near me and was seriously, all over me. Not that I minded, but I had to concentrate on the road and stuff. When she reached down to undo the button on my pants, I had to stop her or say something to her or something because this was just getting to be too much for me to handle, especially with me needing to drive.

“Beth, could you, uh, not do that while I’m driving, please?” I asked her. I took my eyes off the road quickly to see her reaction to my request. She didn’t seem to be too disappointed that I asked her that, she only smiled coyly. She removed her hands from my body and slipped back away from me. I think that I sort of ruined whatever erotic moment she was going through because she slipped even farther away and reached around to put her seat belt on.

I felt so bad because I didn’t want her to think that I didn’t want her. Because I do, I really do want her. I turned off the main road and onto a little side road. She looked around and looked confused. She had no idea where we were. I smiled to myself and still continued to drive on, trying to find the right spot. I pulled off the road, put the Explorer in park and turned towards Beth.

“Tay, where are we?” she asked me. I could detect a little fright in her voice. Great, I thought, I shouldn’t have done this. I don’t want her to get the wrong idea, but I just can’t hide the truth from her much longer.

“I want to give you your present.” I said, realizing that I still had to give it to her. She smiled, then took her seatbelt off and slid a little closer to me. I reached into the glove compartment, pulled out the little velvet box, and handed it to her. As soon as she saw the box, her eyes lit up. I smiled. “Open it.”

She took the delicate ribbon in her fingers and untied the cute little bow. Then she opened the box. I smiled as I heard the tiny hinges squeak on it. It sounded like something out of a movie. She gasped when she saw the gold bracelet lying there.

“Oh Tay, it’s beautiful!” she exclaimed.

“Do you like it?” I asked her. She looked into my eyes and nodded.

“I love it.” She said. “Almost as much as I love you.”

I looked into her eyes and at that moment, I knew that I loved her, too. She was so special to me. It felt really good to hear her say that she loved me. Even though we have been together for months, it was the first real time that she ever said it.

“I love you, too.” I told her. I took the bracelet and clasped it around her wrist. It looked perfect. We kissed and as she leaned over, closer towards me, she turned up the volume of the radio louder and we leaned back.

“I love you, too.” He said, taking the bracelet from the case and he put it on my wrist. It looked perfect. I loved it and I loved him. Touched from the gift, and from his words, I kissed him, leaning over onto him, and as I leaned, I let my hand sweep across the volume control and I made the music louder. We both leaned back, and I was sort of laying on top of Taylor.

I pulled away first, looking deep into his eyes and said, “Maybe we should get in the back.”, referring to the back/trunk section of the Explorer. I kissed him before climbing over the seats, then climbing over the backseats and into the back compartment. I couldn’t even wait for him to get back there. When he was in the middle of crawling over the backseat, I pulled on his shirt and kissed him. We collapsed backwards and laid there, letting our bodies touch, letting our hands explore where they never explored before.

Our passionate desire for one another became so heavy that I had to stop. The more I thought about it, the more adorable I found everything that was going on. It was me that made the moves for this to happen. Taylor never pushed anything. He was over me now, not allowing his full weight be on me, he was supporting himself up, and I just thought that was really cute. Call me a hopeless romantic, but that’s just the way I am.

“What’s wrong?” he asked me. Looking into his eyes, I knew that I wanted to go farther, a lot farther.

I shook my head. “Nothing is wrong.”

“Then why did you stop?”

“Because I need to tell you something.”

“What?” he asked.

Staring straight into his eyes, and knowing that he was staring right into mine was a feeling beyond belief. I didn’t hesitate on purpose, it was just something that I needed to do, to take a deep breath before saying.

“I want you to make love to me, Taylor.” I said. He smiled, a warm loving smile, and didn’t really say anything. He leaned back down and kissed me, it was such a powerful kiss.

“Beth, I love you so much.” Taylor breathed heavily between one of our kisses. He kissed me again, then kissed my neck. I slipped my hands under his shirt and began to pull it off as I felt him begin working on taking my shirt off as well.

“I love you more.” I replied. He stopped for a second and smiled. Our lips touched again, and everything continued. My heart was pumping so quickly and I could feel my blood rush faster through my veins. I was sure that he could feel my heart beating.

My shirt came off, as did Taylor’s, and as soon as they were removed, he began tugging on the bottom of my skirt and I once again unbuttoned his pants. Before anything else happened, he pulled a condom from his pants pocket and slipped it into his hands, then continued to take his pants off. I pulled my skirt off the rest of the way and we came together a second time.

* * * * *

The evening ended with Taylor dropping me off at my house, just 10 minutes before midnight. I got out of the Explorer and turned back to kiss him goodbye. The look in his eyes said it all. He didn’t believe me, nor did he want to kiss me.

“Call me.” I said before I shut the door. He only glared angrily at me and sped off. I slapped my hand to my forehead and walked alone up the front walk to my house. I couldn’t believe what had happened.

My parents were already asleep when I got in the house. I crept slowly to my room and then went right to bed. I just wanted to lay there and think about everything. He’s such a jerk! Why doesn’t he believe me? I wouldn’t lie about this.

Lying in bed, watching the snowflakes fall right outside my window, I thought about the angry expression that occupied his face for the later half of the night. After our encounter on the side road, we went to Tony’s to get something to eat. That’s when we ran into Mark.

Mark came up to us like it was his business or something. He eyed my up and down, and I could tell that it made Taylor upset. Mostly because I didn’t really do anything to stop it. Mark is pretty cute, he’s my friend and partner in ballet. I wasn’t going to be rude to him just because I looked nice and because I was with Taylor.

However, Taylor seemed to think that there is something going on between Mark and me. Just because we’re partners and he was checking me out. He got all huffy and wanted to leave before we got anything to eat. I told him he was acting like a baby. That made him even more mad because I told him that in front of Mark. He was beyond the point of mad, he was pissed.

Finally, Mark got the hint that he was being a nuisance and left. I had smiled and tried to get all comfy with Tay, but he just shrugged me away. I didn’t know what to do. I looked down at the bracelet that rested on my wrist and frowned. I didn’t want him to be upset with me. I tried to explain to him that Jeff and his girlfriend had just recently broke up and I didn’t want to be mean to him because he was a little edgy. He didn’t want to listen. I exploded. I told him that maybe I wasn’t so sure I –-

The phone rang. I rolled over in bed and took a quick look at the clock before picking up. 12:13. It was going to be Taylor.

“Hello?” I picked up the phone.

“Beth, you don’t know how mad I still am about Mark tonight.” He said.

“You don’t know how mad I still am about your accusations about Mark tonight! Really Tay! You’re acting so childish about this whole thing.”

“I just, well, got scared, that’s all.” He confessed.

“Scared? What on earth about?”

“When I saw him looking at you, I just got so scared. I mean, at school I can handle it when other guys check you out and stuff, because I have control of the situation. But when you’re at ballet, I’m not there. I don’t know what could happen. I don’t know what he really thinks about you, or what you might think about him.” Taylor said. I sighed. Why does he have to act like this? Doesn’t he know that I love him?

“Tay, you don’t have to worry about anything. Mark is only my partner and he will never be anything more than that. You must know, especially after tonight, how I feel about you. I love you.” I said. I could hear him smiling, if that’s possible.
